Markets for the cheap and the squishy

A long-time Hong Kong Ex-Pat recommends:

  • Stanley Market in Stanley
  • Jade Market; Ladies Street; Temple Street; Fa Yuen Street and Bird Street all in Mognkok.
  • Hollywood Road and Cat Street in SoHo for antiques and collectibles.
  • The Wan Chai wet market for taking pictures of local life and seeing all of  the live chickens and fresh produce.
  • Walk around Ocean Terminal- it had over 700 stores-not a market but a Mall beyond believe.

Stanley market is a great place to buy cashmere/pashmina scarves. Love bargaining for the right price!
